According to the South Korean military officials, morning 9-7, Korea tested a ballistic missile launched from submarines (SLBM) from the east off the coast of this country.

The source Yonhap or missiles fired from the south-east coast port city sinpo, South Hamgyong Province (Korea) at around 11:30 am (local time, ie 9:30 hourly VN).
It is unclear missile tests have been successful but the move comes just a day after the US-Korea notified Seoul has officially decided to deploy regional defense system end-stage height (THAAD) against missiles from North Korea.
