Carrots are rich in vitamins, minerals, fiber and antioxidants and beta carotene compound that helps prevent breast cancer.
According to the Express, carrot contributes to preventing the risk of breast cancer. Women with high blood beta-carotene will be less risk of breast cancer. The research group has tracked eating habits over 3000 women and blood tests to measure levels of beta-carotene.

Carrots are rich in beta-carotene, an antioxidant and is used to create vitamin A in the human body. A diet rich in antioxidants can help reduce the risk of cancer by protecting the body's healthy cells unharmed.

In addition, the carrot juice increases the carotenoid levels in the blood of those who survived breast cancer. The researchers believe the high carotenoid levels can help prevent cancer recurrence.
